We are passionate about what we do and we hope that shows throughout your experience with us. Here we have continuity of care for you and your family, if this is what you require. But we also have a quick one day appointment for those worrying or acute symptoms that won’t wait.
Our experienced GPs are typically available for same day appointments Monday-Friday. Being seen by Private GP will not impact your eligibility to use the NHS. After your doctor’s appointment we will send you detailed consultation notes which you may share with your NHS GP if you choose.
Our GPs have all previously worked in the NHS and private practice, and are registered with the GMC (General Medical Council).
Video Consultations
We offer private GP consultations by remote video as well as in person. Video consultations make critical GP services available to you in your own home, whilst reducing the risk of infection.
They also make our GP services readily accessible to patients who are immobile or located outside of Leicestershire.
Video consultations are appropriate and effective in many cases, but do limit our ability to conduct a physical examination. Please contact us if you’re unsure whether a remote consultation will meet your needs, and book at your own discretion.
Private GP Fees
We are not funded by the NHS or the UK government; all of our services are delivered privately.
There are additional fees for:
- Writing prescriptions, sick notes, or referral letters
- Conducting blood tests
- Other medical services
Simply book a normal consultation and your doctor will discuss your options with you, or call us for more information. Where appropriate, we will carry out further tests immediately.

Before your consultation we require you to:
- Register with the practice
- Pay for your appointment
On booking, we will send you payment details and a short registration form online.
Covid Precautions
Private GP maintains a strict protocol to minimise the risk of Covid infection.
If you suspect you may have Covid, self-isolate and do not come to the practice. You may, of course, request a video consultation. Face masks are compulsory on Private GP practice grounds.
